YVONNE SENAT JONES is Bolivian-Haitian and speaks Spanish fluently. Growing up, she loved performing in Christmas pageants, dance concerts, and anything else that involved a tutu.
She received her MFA in Acting from the University of South Carolina A.K.A. the original USC ;) Some of her favorite stage roles include Blanche Dubois and Lady Macbeth. YVONNE SENAT JONES will be appearing as recurring guest star 'Tally' in Tyler Perry’s newest drama, The Oval, set to premiere this Fall. Her last project, The Bobby Brown Story, won the 2019 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding TV Movie this April. Yvonne played the supporting role of "Robyn Crawford", best friend to Whitney Houston. Emmy-Winning Casting Director Robi Reed stated, "Yvonne embodied the role of Robyn!" Previous credits include The Orville, Code Black and S.W.A.T. When she's not acting, you can find Yvonne pursuing her other passion: teaching acting to kids! You haven't lived until you've seen an 11 year old perform the "Dagger scene". Eventually, Yvonne plans to create an inner city after-school organization and also star along side Leonardo DiCaprio in a feature film. She's thinking Titanic 2: Jack and the Black Pearl. |
